Good morning All.
Can someone assist please.
I have this 30gtn carrier chiller, it trips breaker immediately it wanted to start running.
I have checked all Fan Motor and Compressor for Short and they are ok.
Only one compressor is bad and I have disconnected it from the system.
All relays have been checked.
Please can someone assist me on what to do. Thanks

Your Earlier posts say it all Charles.
Good day Engineers
Please I need urgent help.
I'm not that grounded in electrical.
I connected a compressor today and the result was a blast.. Breakers trip and compressor burnt.
what you are now getting I assume?
Is as a direct result of your previous actions.
Knowing when to stop is sometimes as important as knowing what to do.
Enlist the help of local more knowledgeable colleagues.

Grizzly good pm,
Though I'm not grounded in electrical but I understand it because I read and learn everyday.
I only asked questions because I want to know more.
I was expecting someone who has experience same problem to tell me the possible causes.

You've checked for shorts but have you checked the starters?
Is the supply voltage correct and strong enough?
Switch off/remove fuses to the compressors etc. Start up and recheck the starters for continuity.

Get hold of Mandola's in Lagos as the local Carrier dealer they should be able to solve this problem. You seem out if your depth.

Check that your electric supply has 3 phases.
You might have lost one when it tripped the first time.
