A Friend of mine who is a Pest Control Officer for a very well known company.
Told me yesterday about 2 Pest Control officers from another company.
Who had been Killed by a refrigerant leak whilst inspecting bait boxes within an industrial plant Room.
Apparently its been on the news.
But I don't want to say anymore as yet. To be fair to those involved.
I am led to believe its not a Ammonia plant but a ( Cannot put F-R-E-O-N ? the system *'s it out?
Sad News.

Very sad indeed I read about it in the Cooling Post. Obviously either no leak detection installed or working and I suspect an enclosed plantroom. Will be interesting to see what the HSE have to say. It could easily be one of us.
I read that the poultry company are up for sale only hope corners have not be cut .
It also mentioned they were found at 01.10 in the morning which also has alarm bells going off as presumably they would have been there during normal working hours.

I have read the sad news, They only think its refrigerant leak, no proof.
Its too easy to spread allegations, its called Fake news.
Why not wait for the results of the investigation so we will all be wiser.

I Have also heard there is so Co2 plant onsite.
More to come yet.
The police are still involved so this is not straight forward.
It sounds as if no-one knew they were there?
With questions about permits to work etc. being asked.
I feel so sorry for the families.
Black and white is easier to accept than grey!

The time that they were found 01.10 am caught my eye and will surely raise concerns over the host company. Totally agree regarding the families.
