Hi Guys
An interesting one today, I together with my Colleague Josh.
Were asked to look at a Lennox unit which was locked out on HP 2" Alarm.
(Which we all know is a generic System 2 locked out on HP? > Wrong!)
It Uses a Carel UC2 SE controller.
Others had tried the usual Power on Power Off and the 2 button reset to no avail!
All the above was checked again by us.
Then Josh said "I will just open the side panel" containing all the contactors etc.
Low and behold! The No 2 system Compressor Motor Start MCB was tripped.
Reset the MCB and the Overload Fault was cleared and the HP2 Alarm Cleared.
Basically it's all part of the same safety circuit and even though the Carel manual says HP trip
Just thought a "Heads Up" was in Order."
