Hoshizaki ice machine problems

Hi

I have a ice machine that has the following issues. When first turned on the water valve comes on and fills and when the compressor comes on the harvest cycle the water valve is still passing so that's faulty. But when the compressor is running on Harvest the hot gas valve is open so it is defrost and harvesting at same time and also the pumps not working and the thermistor is open circuit. But the pump works when you put it on wash. Anyone any ideas

I don't like ice machines full stop��but this maker is world renowned,met a fellow tech who worked for them jumped ship but now works for them as a contractor and is kept busy so I presume information is hard to come by?,as with many icemakers it's best to stand back and decifer what's going on best of luck God I hate ice machines that's why I have a working k40 whirlpool in my stock to buy me time.

Did you get this sorted? Sounds like you have a KM unit which will have the water valve open during harvest.
