Hello
I am building a cascade system
The first stage working on the gas R22 and the 2nd stage working on gas R23.
my problem is in the 1st stage :
theoretically by using coolpack The first stage should work on the following pressures (1 bar @ suction ) and (12 bar @ discharge)
But practically the results were as follows (1 bar @ suction ) and (7.4 @ discharge )
i used a cap.tube which have a specification : ( 90 cm length- and 38 inner diameter - and Double pipe ( 2 pipes in parallel ) .
How can I control the pressure ratio ? to make it up to 12 bar as theory ?
is the problem in the cap.tube ? .

You have an excess of condensing capacity: or something real cold you are rejecting heat to....If your condenser is transferring heat to city water that's very possible. Design numbers will be based on Highest Temperature year round. If the heat rejection goes direct to outdoors you can get similar effect in cold weather.
