Attached is the page from manual of our YPC-ST-400 york chiller (steam fired)...My problem is that these instructions apply if I am using ~7bar steam at the inlet whereas according to our load steam pressure we use never exceed ~2bar. This gives me a chiller outlet temperature of ~9C. I cannot find any correlation that on what load I have to maintain condensate backpressure to what amount?
Further I need to add that attached document indicates that ~1bar pressure is maintained upstream of backpressure globe valve but also it shows that condensate collection is being done nearly at same elevation as that of chiller, however, in our case there exists a ~5m elevation. I mean the chiller condensate line moves upward to ~5m elevated rack then it has linear distance ~20m before it comes down to our condensate collection pod.
