Hi guys,
So, I looked a bit around, and have found one other occurrence of rotor peeling on this forum, and speculation is that the bearings dropped, compressor was overheating, liquid entering suction, etc
Somehow I am not buying it, as we have same issue in two different plants running J&E Halls (only two with J&E Halls), and these compressors are well looked after, with daily inspections and logs made, so there is no chance of running out of parameters.
My thinking goes more into way of sliding valves touching the rotor, and peeling of the soft metal... As the dimples at the end of rotor are fine...
Does anybody have similar experience with these?

Thanks for the answers,
Cheers,
