View Full Version : Electric circuit size for Fujitsu Ducted System
Hello
Just wondering what elec supply required for a 14 kw Ducted inverter. The one I am servicing is rated 22.5 amps max and is tripping a 25 amp circ breaker (4 mm wire) wondering if a 6 mm circuit 32 amp breaker would be more appropriate?
Interested to know what others recommend?
Any info appreciated

Is it a straight MCB or an RCD?

Have you measured the current draw?
Yes the breaker trips after approx 10 - 15 mins, I got on to Fujitsu this morning they suggest the circuit should be 6mm 32amp breaker. The macine has an issue ( compressor/inverter) but I wanted to find out circuit size as it seemed to close to max amp rating
Thanks for your replys

In the Fujitsu install manuals they say ASTG54 ducted systems require 5.3mm cable ( so 6mm) and 32A breaker
One thing i do hate about installing Fujitsu's is the cable size they recommend. Its always massive overkill for the circuit breaker size, where as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Samsung etc are pretty good
