Hi, good days all of you..

can I replace R507a to R22, cause R507a discharge pressure higher then R22.

anyway, what is different between R507a with R22, can anyone share PT chart for R507a and R22

recently this is about the sea food cold storage system using BITZER S6F-30.2Y-40, the lowers discharge pressure resulting energy save right ?

Depend of working temperature...

R22 going very hot on head temperature if evaporator working with low temperature - is why R507A, R404A developed for using low temperature system.

example evaporator temperature -10 degree C, condense temperature 45 degree C, compressor with isentropic efficiency 0.62 give 100.9 degree C with R22 but only 67.8 degree C with R507A (propane (R290) give 71.1 degree C) simulated in coolpack

R502 and R507A is forbidden in many country many years back (R22 also) and for low temperature solution now use R404A - but also going banned now together with R410A and R407C in EU for new equipment, so only left is more or less only using propane (R290) and propylene (R1270) in small charge system i (commercial) equipment and for air/air heating pump is pure R32, but R32 going also very hot, so this need different design with multi stage compressor and cooling between stage or liquid injection to keep head temperature low...

Thanks for advices.
Today I found a unit of BITZER S6F broken discharge valve reed in high side.
