I have a problem with a ac225 cuber.on switch on it fills with water then goes into its freezing cycle.about 20 seconds later it goes into defrost mode for about 5 seconds and keeps on doing this continuously.has anyone come across this problem before, and is it likely to be the evap sensor or pc board.thanks

Is there a float switch to detect the water level in the sump?

Sounds like possibly a faulty float switch or water level sensor. Is it flashing an error code when you restart it? Refrigeration system operating? Hot gas valve not leaking?

Never mind. Freeze cycle termination controlled by timer adjustable by dip switch. Harvest cycle controlled by nonadjustable electric timer. Must be due to timer? Or in some type of sped-up diagnostic mode?

System is controlled by pcboard.no float switch.the system is changing from freezer cycle to hot gas every few seconds through the pcboard.

Looking at the manual its possible that the reset button is shorted or stuck on the pcb ,pressing it for 5 secs at a time bypasses the machine through its cycles . It would be worth pressing it a few times to see
