I did my time in the military, 1 year in the engine room, and 2.5 as an engine man in A division, doing maintenance, and operating a large variety of equipment throughout the ship, AC units, cold box units air driers, and much more.
When I got out I finally landed a job as an industrial maintenance mechanic, I was put into the engine room to monitor and operate NH3 compressors, boiler, and water softener.
2 years later I was sent to get RITA certified after that i did not do much more boiler man duties, the chief engineer realized that I was a much more valuable asset in the production side of the plant.
Now 16 years later I find myself out of a job, and am trying to see if I can get into NH3 systems as a maintenance man, this is why m here to freshen up from some of the questions posted on this site, to hopefully land a job.

Lino... There's a sub forum for NH3 under the industrial section. Just thought I'd pass that onto you in case you missed it.
