Our Maytag side by side freezer is working fine but fridge is not getting very cold. I notice that the upper channels that run between the freezer and fridge have iced up preventing cold air coming into upper part of fridge. Freezer is not iced up at all and the auto defrost drainage hole area is clear. Does anyone know what causes this problem - wondering if a manual defrost would solve what is a temporary build up of ice?
