Indesit inc3100g Fridge Freezer Thermostat wiring

I'm currently replacing my thermostat, but like an idiot I forgot to make a note of which wire goes where!

I've got 3 posts labelled 3, 4 and 6 (plus earth down the side), with 4 and 6 looking like they may be connected inside..... can someone please let me know which wire goes to which post?

You need to continuity test across the terminals when the stat is in the off position and see which two terminals haven't got a reading compared to which have when it's in the on position.

Many thanks Mikee - that sounds pretty much like what my old man said (he's a sparky), I was just hoping someone on here might just know which cables goes to which number post.

Perhaps I should get him on the case :) Thanks again anyway....
