Slide valve failure problem

Currently i am working on Howden compressor (WRV) and I faced a problem of slide vale that stuck at full load and tripped but slide valve is at the full load position it should back to its minimum position but this time is at maximum position. how can i get it back?

Jone,
Can you checked that unload solenoid is being energised.
Check all the valves fully open on load/unload cylinder circuit
Check you have 2bar or 30psi oil pressure when trying to unload compressor?
Check if any other filters in the unloaded lines are clean (if installed).

If above Ok then maybe you have to de-pressurise compressor & remove fitting to see if unload piston can be moved manually with air or nitrogen as we'll as check solenoid if nothing obvious wrong.
Be carefully with unload cylinder, that you bleed all pressure out.
