Hi all,
Can anyone please explain what this is, in the suction line just before the compressor?
Is it a drier or a muffler? See pics attached
the reason I ask is because I have a temperature drop across it, which may be correct, I don't know.
R407c refrigerant enters the insulated cylindrical component at 3 degress Celsius and exits the component just before it enters the compressor at 8.4 degress Celsius.
thats a fair temperature difference (5.4 degrees)
When recording super heat which figure would you go off? Worst case scenario?
I would welcome any thoughts, many thanks.
