Compressor Oil refrigeration Oil

I am looking for Idemitsu FVC-46D oil. I believe the 46 is the weight? Does anyone know how I can buy an equivilant oil or mix the oil myself? Idemitsu is very expensive and Daikin is also too expensive. Thanks!

have you tried inquiring with mobil ? in their website, maybe the "mobil EAL arctic 46 (polyol ester)" is compatible with your equipment. i am presuming you are using a japanese brand compressor, the reason why idemitsu is the recommended oil. you may want to inquire with your equipment manufacturer first, if still under warranty. i also broqsed idemitsu webiste, but did not see the oil you mentioned. Instead, i saw "FD46XG". i don't know which is more recent, but this was the oil from the idemitsu website which , somewhat matches what you mentioned.
