Beko fridge/freezer cda538w water noise

Hi, Heres hoping someone can tell me where to start with my non freezing FF. It stopped working and theres a noise coming from it sounds like water/liquid gas running around the pipework. Should i change the thermostat or scrap the thing? thanks for any replies

Sign of loss of refigerant if it's on R600a (printed on compressor/motor label).Local engineer is what you need!
