New to this so hi everyone, i am an AC engineer

My problem is I replaced a compressor on a serve over fridge but I cannot work out how to wire the relay. The compressor is a Danfos SC18G.

I don't know where the Live, Neutral and Capacitors are meant to be wired.
It has 10, 11, 13 and 14 underneath each instead of L, N or C and it came with no diagram.

There is a link to the Technical Info and diagram below but it does not say which numbers stand for what.
http://www.ra.danfoss.com/TechnicalInfo/Literature/Manuals/06/sc18g_104g8822_r134a_220v_50hz_60hz_12-2011_dehc403q202.pdf

I tried it first with the Capacitor connected to 10 and 11 (the top two). The Live spade connected to 14 (bottom) and the Neutral spade going to 13 (right).
When I turned it on it tripped the mains breaker as soon as it asked for cooling.

I then tried it with the Capacitor connected to the right two (11 and 13), the Live to 14 and the Neutral to 10 (top left). The compressor ran for a few seconds then blew the breaker again, the compressor was not pumping when it ran. The next time I just switched round the Live and Neutral and it did the same but I unplugged it before it tripped the breaker again.

I have not ran it since until I can find the correct way to wire it.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

According to the wiring diagram on the page you linked to:

Live - 14
Neutral - 10
Capacitor - 11/13

Any auxiliary equipment, like fans, on the live incoming, 10/14.

Does the new compressor ring out OK?

Any chance there is something else tripping the breaker, like a fan/heater/pump?

Megger evrything connected,fans etc.
I usually put a meter on relay to find start winding, turn it upside down with test leads connected and start winding will connect and make meter bleep.the other will then be the run winding.
Also meter the compressor and largest reading will be the start winding.

Based on the diagram provided in your link terminals:
12 goes to run terminal
13 goes to start terminal
14 goes to common terminal and should be neutral (L1)
10 should be live (L2)
while 11 & 13 is capacitor

diagram provided is self explanatory, i think...

Ohh! and one thing the relay might be defective and had a sticking contact.

Try shaking it you should hear a clicking sound. But it should be a good practice to test it with ohmmeter..
