Hi All,
Have new compressor and inverter board arriving tomorrow to replace on emergency job (aint they all!). Apparently the oil equalizing pipe can not be delivered for a couple of weeks but daikin have said you can manufacture your own. They have sent me a drawing but it is not as clear as I would like and could do with a bit of simplified assistance if anyone can help.
I think my biggest question is does the new compressor come with a new equalizing seat or do you re use the old one? I dont see the point of pinching and cutting the old pipework and trapping oil if I need to re use the equalizing seat. This is not clear on the drawing.
If anyone knows any quirks this process has I would like to know before I tackle the job. Or is it straight forward?
I plan to us the setting 21 code to open all valves, does turning the unit power off do the same though?
kind regards.
