Hi all I have a Trane chiller unit ECG900 that is totally wrong for application. The coils are undersized and the fin spacing far close together. The site is a papermill and the coils have got blocked solid with a mixture of paper dust and glue we have tried cleaning the coils but cleaner won't penetrate the coil. Having HP problems now and need a specialist coil cleaning company to come have a look any recommendations we are in Manchester Uk

new coils from trane and then fit insect screen to resist the crap in the air-or filtter media to cover the coils
try a steamer them ones they use to clean the grout between tiles (not wall paper one) polti do em-other are available- to try and blast the crap clear- as you cant do hot works in a paper mill.

Was talking to the guy from Advanced engineering at a recent open day, he said they will visit a site to help select or make a new coil cleaner chemical to solve specific problems, would be worth giving them a call,

I'll agree with Install Monkey on this one regarding the steamer ,had a similar problem in a factory that made high density fiber board similar to MDF.
Nicked the missus H2O mop thingy and it worked a treat ,down side was I had to buy her another one as I decided to keep the first one in the van permanently.
Cheers

Nothing better than steel wire and patience! ... and perhaps a solvent for the glue.

Also consider using a remote condenser.

Finn spacing only buys you time. If the glue is sticky or the paper wet it will get covered anyway unless you wash it frequently enough, with the correct solvent.
