Carrier SUPRA/MAXIMA ERR3 CODE

Hallo all ! I vave werry interestid question about fault code err3 on carrier supra/maxima micro! What actualy means that err3? Nowhere says something about it just says replace micro !
Replaced but still having the same problem. Absolutly unregular becoming err3 code and resset micro !
Any ideas about that meybe someone had such a problem ? Thanks for reply ! :)

Error 3 is processor failure, check chip installation or replace microprocessor. I'd also check ribbon cable between processor and display.

I had error 3 the other day tried a new micro and the fault was still there after checking the unit over I found a rubbed through wire on the compressor it might be worth checking this out.

ERR3 can be caused by a grounded sensor wire. Could be your cdt sensor or spt is grounded.

thanks all for the info fixed it . That was SPT broked wires!
