some manufacturers are specialized in this type of chiller. I mean u have to change only water direction, no 4-way valve on ref pipes. But controller must manage outlet chilled water temperature to avoid freezing in both modes, heating and cooling. That's important.

3-way, 4-way

Yes, many of them. In Norway and Sweden it's quite common. No specific care is needed. Control is on condenser, and evaporator is only controlled for freezing protection.

Thanks a lot for the answers. My schematic exactly like the reff three way attachment.
@ AlexG : could you name some manufacturers are specialized in this type of chiller ? I want to check different technical specification.
@All : Have you any documents/recommendation related control multi-chiller plant of this kind chiller especially in control sequence and change-over heating/cooling control ?

I assume it should be a sealed system due to potential legionella?

WTA, check websites of Climaveneta or CIAT. I suppose that Carrier or York make this type of units. What is your e-mail?

we use closed-loop with chiller and dry cooler. Many manufacture have this kind of system but cause rarely use in our location ( we are the first) the information about control, operation is uncleared with us.

wta, why dont u use air-to-water heat pumpes? High humidity?

Becausa architect and acoustic restriction. dry cooler and water-cooled chiller is only variant
