Had a call today on a Daikin AC System (indoor - FCQH125C7VEB), controller showing A6 Fault code which is indoor fan motor, can anybody tell me what the DC voltage is supposed to be for these fans?? I got 335V DC off the board to the fan and just want to confirm thats the correct voltage before i go ahead and order a new fan motor, its been about 2 years since i worked on daikin so im pretty rusty, thanks in advance!!

For most (well all the ones I've come accross)
Pin 1 Red wire - DC 330V
Pin 2 Empty
Pin 3 Empty
Pin 4 Negative
Pin 5 15V DC to power internal PCB
Pin 6 Command voltage indicating what speed to run fan
Pin 7 Output pulse of actual fan speed

Pins 5,6 and 7 are sometimes swapped about depending on make.

Cheers,
Andy.

Thanks Andy, that pretty much confirms it as i got the 330v DC between red and blue so the fan has power but it wasnt doing anything. Cheers!!

The indoor unit is fed off a VRV and i havent done much work at all on VRV systems mainly splits, when i isolate the indoor unit to replace the fan im guessing the system will throw up a transmission error? if so will i need to reset the outdoor unit to clear the fault or will it pick up the indoor unit when i turn it on and reset itself? If i do need to reset the system what is the method of reseting daikin VRV systems is it a simple case of switching the outdoor unit off for 30secs then back on???

1. Disconnected or faulty wiring between fan motor and PC board : Fix the wiring and turn on again.
I have problem on one FXFQ125P9VEB produced in Novemmber 2011

2. Replace the indoor unit PC board.
I have problem on one FXFQ100P9VEB produced in Novemmber 2011
