Hi,

I have two prestcold PR1500/0138-12 units i have been given to sell but i know nothing about them  I see copeland refer to them as D9rs4-1500 ewm/d but thats about all i have found out.

I don't even know if they are refrigeration or air conditioning units??

Any help much appreciated!

Refrigeration units and you are now the proud owner of two hazardous waste items; enjoy the paperwork.

They look even older then the mercedes horse box behind!

You could tidy the pipe work up a bit so it doesn't look like they've been stolen by pikies and put them on ebay.

But i think you would do better to strip the copper out and then weigh the metals in at a scrappy, just don't mention refrigeration when you take them there.

If they still have refrigerant in it could cost you £500 to make them safe, nasty stuff, asphyxiant, in the same category as asbestos as far as waste is concerned but the health implications are more instant.

There might be more model data on the plate on the tank under the big finned motor (compressor), the compressor is not original, the chassis looks 30+ years old, the comp label might have a date on it.
