well all my friend has god forsaken nibe heat pump fitted 5 years ago and the copeland scroll is giving trouble....

the inner pressure relief valve is stuck open and if it was a shop id tell him to change it but the same lad had alot of misfortune with his health in the last while and just after a kidney transplant and i am just wondering has anyone cut them open

your help would be appriciated

What model is she Paidraic?

Prestons used to take them back for repair, maybe RSL might now that they are doing remanned compressors..

If he is a mate of yours could you get him a new one at cost? You can sometimes squeeze a bit more discount out of the wholesalers if they know its for a good cause.

What model is it, voltage, refrigerant etc?

Get the Info off the comp and I'll see what sort of price I can swing one for , Is it for a fighter ?If so what model? I wouldn't bother decapitating anything under 30kw personally as it's a fooking pig of a job and a bit hit or miss.

its a nibe fighter model not to sure but will find out

compressor is a copeland scroll zr48k3e-pfj-522 serial 0b6274687c
it on 407c and 230v single phase
