hi there currently working on a daikin ryp200b7w1 the problem i am having as it runs for half an hour then stops for about 10 mins it does this several times then just stops the remote says its still on and it does not produce fault code. it runs 2 indoor units (ducted) in at open plan office. running pressures are aprox 3.5bar suction and 16bar discharge gas charge is correct as i removed it and weighed it in. im sure its not the msin outdoor pcb or outdoor air sensor, outdoor coil temp sensor as i swapped them with a unit i know is good. running out of ideas. cheers

does it run longer when u put it in test mode, does external condensate pump disable cooling ? unit has to alarm 3 times before a fault code is generated

unit still cuts out in test mode, and doesn't generate a fault if left on over night, just sits idle after a few hours.

ok i think i may have the answer

is this r407c??

if this is, this is a daikin fault from factory. the units are only designed for comms room operation, what actually is happening the evaportor floods to much and goes into frost protection

if u use code 41 (hold test for 5 secs) release then hit again for a further 5. scroll to 41 and go to indoor sensor i bet it gets below 0

what happens is it goes into frost protection and lets ambeint cool the coil back up to temp (think 10 degrees)

if its the case to solve it!! you need to rem,ove covers get indoor coild sensor and relocate to suction pipe on the indoor (armour flex it) problem solved!!!

ive had this many times hope this is the case, if not good luck

wouldnt it restart within 6 mins. it says the indoor fan goes into LL speed until coil temp rises, theyre is no specific fault code for freeze protection, ive e mailed u a manual, let us know ta

when it goes to freeze protection a fault wont show thats coorect, fan speed does go to low but it does not show up on daikin brc (wall controller) the fan coil ticks over.

is the unit complelty stopping?
