Split system shows 0 psi low side, 130 psi high side in 72 ambient. Refrigerant was just replaced to nameplate spec. Not much of any cooling going on here. System was icing badly when shut down at end of last season. Have not yet checked evaporator cleanliness, but this appears to be a bigger failure than dirty fins.

Seems you have lost most of your gas charge.

The system was just recharged. But these readings were observed immediately after.

This is my first post. So Hi every one. This forum is amazing.

It may be caused by an obstruction of the capillary tube or the mechanical filter (if present) just placed before it. If the machine is a heat pump I would try to install a filter drier and make it operate in the heat mode in order to catch the moist or particles of dust.

Best regards

Hi Robert.
the name plate system charge is relative to a maximum pipe run of 'x ' feet, if pipe runs are longer more refrigerant has to be added. The manufacturers installation instruction / manual will state all this. What refrigerant is in system.
