I have a Toeflex R134A LBP series compressor, model pw3.5vk, and I need to know what type of oil it needs before I test to see if it runs.
I hope I posted this in the correct forum

R-134a refrigerant uses a Polyalkylene glycol (PAG) synthetic-based oil.
Oil name ND8 I beleived.

NO! Proper oil for R-134a is POE.

The compressor should already have an oil charge in it.

32 is a bit heavy. RL 68 for low back pressure, and yes, Chemi, POE is the one.

Some air con comps have polyvinyl ether oil in now. Job to keep up with it all!
