It depends where you are in London.
College of NW London in Willesden provide training, There is also a college near Dartford (SE London / North Kent). John Ellis Training is near Potter's Bar, Herts.
City & Guilds 2078 is for handlers of HFCs. There are similar qualifications specifically for handlers of Ammonia and HCs
This link is from the HVCA and details relevant RAC course, including NVQs C&G 2078, CITB safe Handling, and Brazing.
http://www.hvca.org.uk/hvcapdf/trg/courses.pdf
There is an equivalent qualification from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) but it has a 3 year validity, and then needs to be renewed. The C&G 2078 is valid until technology changes sufficiently for the course content to alter.
UK employers may also have an interest in Brazing Qualifications and a Skillcard.

http://www.cscs.uk.com/affiliated_schemes/skillcard.asp?cat=affiliated_schemes
The Skillcard is a tradesman?s ID card that is H&S based, but also lists your qualifications. Many large sites and reputable employers in the UK now insist on it and should help you register.
Hope this helps.

.
I was lead to believe that the C&G 2078 covered me to handle HC refrigerants, I was told this by the C&G verifier last year.

Thanks for help!!!
I'm planing to work with A/C chillers, so C&G 2078 with my polish university qualifications should be enough for the beginning.
Regards
Emil

Good luck, and let us know how you get on.
If you have a job offer, any reputable company should put you through the necessary training - otherwise it can be expensive to get the C&G 2078 certificate as a private individual. At the moment, it's highly desirable, but not yet mandatory in the UK.
If you are experienced with chillers you shouldn't have much of a problem. There's always a shortage of decent engineers in the UK.

Thanks Argus.
I have checked with one of colleges which you recommend and two days course for C&G 2078 cost L290, so it's not bad.
Cheers

Prices do vary, so it's worth looking around and I repeat that it's not unreasonable for a company you work for to sponsor you.
Also, check what you are getting. The C&G 2078, as I understand it, is an assessment of what you already know. It's not necessarilly a course to bring you up to the required standard, though many providers will look at your existing knowledge and may even build some tuition in.
As you are from Poland, I suggest that you be familiar with UK practices and the EU ODS regulations for Chlorinated gases. Additionally there is a regulation in preparation for Fluorinated gases that is worth being aware of. It's not part of the law yet, but will be in a year or so.
Talk it throgh with your tutor first.
Good luck.
