LRT-I controller issue

Guys;

I have a customer with a problem with an LRT-I which when the setpoint is set, continues to drop in temperature. I believe that setpoint is normally around 17C, but as mentioned, it continues to drop once it has reached setpoint.

I understand that the unit has had a new controller fitted, but the original chip has been used.

Any suggestions?

Hi tony first thing you need to check is that the compressor clutch disengages at set point. if not check for a feed to it, if its not fed and still over cools then you have a clutch fault, if its still fed at set point, check clutch relay, then try disconecting the compressor feed from the controller, hope this helps, Tom
