reefer comunication port

hi,
can any body inform me what is the name of reefer comunication port socket. I want to make a comunication cable which can connect with my note book. currently i want to purchase a socket for this purpose .

And is it USB or RS232 on your PC

What unit are you working with?
Sounds like you will probably need a download cable and software.
If you are working with Thermo King and most late model Carrier units, you'll most likely need a cable with a 5pin Duetsch plug at one end and a USB at the other. Talk to your local Thermo King or Carrier dealer.
Additionally, you'll need Wintrac or Reefer Manager software to gain access to the unit. We can help you there.
Echoing the comments of Gravy258, you'll need to be more specific.

I try reefer manager for maxima 1300 to set the hours

I think you'll find that for the Maxima 1300, you'll need a download card as opposed to a cable.
You may need to talk with your friendly Carrier dealer.
