Im fairly new to the industry but never the less i thrive on learning new skills everyday whilst on the job. i have encountered a fseyp8 daikin condenser system linked to two splits inside a training room it was neither cooling or heating, the system is calling for refrigerant the compressor kicks in but then kicks out after about 20 secs. i checked pressure standing on about 70-80 PSI which is a little low i no but not low enough to cause problem,i checked crankcase heater thats fine, compressor voltage earth insulation etc fine, 4 way valve fine, at first i thought maybe compressor has gone but then found it has a thermistor brazed in ,i am told that its directly linked to the LP voltage and by checking that you will find out true pressure as my gauges might be off. has anyone had expierience in this particular situation and what voltage is in relation to pressure
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE FELLAS

hi andy,
your unit is short of gas, its being held off by the L-P switch
