Is there anyone wants to explain me,why r404a is always charge at liquid?and not in gas,pls.help me.....thanks:eek:

As with all belnded refrigerants which are identified with the 4 at the start of the R number are either zeotropic or aziotopic blends which are at different states at the same temp/pressure you need to charge as a liquid to ensure that the blend is kept correct
by blends means several different refrigerants comined to make 1

If you have sure that you will evacuate all the refrigerant that is inside the vessel you don't need to charge on the liquid phase. However I think that for R404A (near azeotropic) if you charge on the vapor even if you let refrigerant on the vessel the consequences wouldn't be great.
