I had problems with the oil temperature of this equipment is a system that uses ammonia and serves as a chiller I leave the machine operating data before protected.

100% capacity
2.20 volume
37.5 psig suction pressure
temperature 10.8 ° C
15.4 ° C superheat

133.4 psig discharge pressure
temperature 86.2 ° c
60.6 ° C superheat
oil pressure 130 psig
temperature 73.7 ° c

process temperature 11.5 ° C
10.0 ° C setpoint
12.0 ° c boot
unemployment 9.0 ° c

I hope their comments and their help

hi, you have too high suction superheat, try to less it.

Agree with ping. If this is a flooded chiller the superheat should be almost 0. What is the oil cooling method?

serviceman

oil cooling is liquid (eazycool), the evaporator is flooded and even goes ahy heat exchanger

That's too cold

What is the oil high temp set point?

serviceman

167°f cout uot hig oil temp

Can Cooler - ammonia with oil? compressor is in good condition? does not vibrate? noise?

josef
the compressor is new, operating at 100% increases the temperature, ammonia, oil is cooled by liquid injection, and the evaporator is flooded, we used as chiller

Insuffi cient liquid supply. Check receiver level. Check strainer.
Suction superheat too high. Correct system problem.
Liquid strainer blocked. Clean strainer.
Operating conditions signifi cantly different from design.
Malfunctioning Vi Control Solenoids. See function check of the compressor
"Volumizer II Vi Control" for further detail.
Check motor valve operation and calibration.
Check calibration of analog output.

ok, the calibration of the valve and was verified, the correct operating saw and automatic way, I amtenido the compressor at 85% capacity and works well, the liquid level is 3 peephole in the entrance of liquid and 2 in the evaporator

The liquid injection is too low, check expansion control and receiver supply levels.

serviceman

the injection of liquid is a electronic valve

The compressor is new or overhaul?
I think your problem is the compressor.

serviceman

compressor is new.lo've been working at 90% maximum load

serviceman ,
If you have liquid injection discharge temp & oil temp should be same .
What is the liquid injection set point ?
I would have thought between 130 -140 f .
Sensor should be on ideally discharge line out of compressor .

As everyone also suggests good liquid reciever levels.
Also oil injection into rotors must be adequate to assist cooling of compressor as not enough may cause rotor damage .

Thank serviceman, so you have a compressor problem. Calibration, capacity control, perhaps from the production.

Have you verified that the main oil injection orifice is the correct size? Sounds like the orifice is too small. Frick usually sends a package of different sized orifices with new compressors. I've had to change several of these.

When the package arrived only brought hand cooling, oil filter and oil. holes will have a picture?

There is a 7 turn valve that should have a yellow cap on it. If that valve is not set correctly that could also affect your oil and discharge temps
