OK, Go to Eliwell web site and look for ewts, there are a few of them, see which one is the one you need.

Hi Martin.
I cannot find any reference to a EWTS 12 only a 72.
Within the details I can find there is reference to a defrost end temp range of 3-15c.
I suspect your operating temps are below this, otherwise why would you need a defrost!
You could install a switch in line with the defrost output.. Terminal 8.
Which would negate any defrost settings. (but maybe not the fan control)?
These may need there output switching too?

Because there does not appear to any means of electronically overriding this controller.
Short of powering it down?

Why do you need to override it?

Hi Martin.
If the 70 model Chemi has posted above, is similar.
You may well Be able to control the defrost.
Using the Klixon control method and switching across terminals 3&4.
Good luck Grizzly.
