Good afternoon.
The controller error -37 (no coolant level). But the coolant is filled to the top level of the tank. Can not start the engine.
What is the principle of the sensor (inductive, resistive) and how it can be avoided?
Thank you

37 is not a shutdown code so it would not stop it strarting, your fault is elsewhere is the battery ok.

Sensor proberbly needs cleaning but like cadwalad wrote this would not stop the enigine from starting,is there another code ? what does the engine do? turn over non start? go throught the start up sequence?

The engine will not start either manually or automatically. Others are no errors. Only -37 (namely with minus). What do you mean minus?

First off all if the alarm has a - in front is alarm from pretrip so go to ddr 45 then press and hold tk to enter the guarded acess then with the select go and reset the alarm.
If the alarm goes on again go on the top of the unit to the water tank .You will see a four bolts sensor with tow cables conect the cables together and test if the alarm stays off meens you have broblem with th sensor take the four bolts off and clean the brobe of the sensor .
If the alarm stays on that meens that you have a cut cable betowen micro and sensor....
I hope that helps
