Hi Guys
On the RTAA125 chiller with serial # U01E00406 which we work on I am having the following problems :-

Phase Unbalance Cprsr B

Low Superheat CKT 1

With this I find the fans drop out and leave only 2 running.

Can you please suggest

Hi :
phase unbalance, is probebly due to a faulty current transformer ,or a bad contactor, or a loose contact,
low superheat, is either a low charge ,due to a leak ,or a faulty sensor, possibly your exv could be problamatic.
good luck

Check your amperage with your meter and confim that there is or isn't a phase imbalance. Compare your results to that off the controller readout. Is it a UCP2 controller?
There are two levels of phase imbalance. One is 15% and it is defeatable in the UCP2 menu. The second is a 30% inbalance that is a hard trip shutdown manual reset.
As mentioned before check all of your wiring connections and contactor condition. You should see evidence of heating on the area of fault. Check for voltage drop across your contactor.

As far as your low superheat problem, does the unit have a variable speed condensing fan motor on each circuit?
Check to see if it is funtional if there is one.
