Can anyone help me with an explaination for tripple glazed freezer doors shattering the outside heated glass pannel.
The unit is an eight door Tyler 6ZWF3-FFC manafactured in USA and purchaced second hand by my customer.
The unit shattered one door about two months ago and it was put down to one of those unfortunete hapenstances but now I have been informed it has broken another one.
The outer pannel has active and neautral fed to either end and I assume works on the resistance of the glass to heat up the rails are being fed with 240volt, on some doors it much hotter on the ends near the feeds than it is in the middle any help or ideas greatly appericiated as I have only seen one issolated incident of this before when a tripple glazed door was left out in direct sunlight. Both these doors went undercover.
