oil fault, low oil. topped up with oil but fault will not reset i was told it would reset automaticaly but it dosent

If the unit doens't crank and comes up eng. oil then you have an alternator problem more than likely. The D+ circuit should only have power when the alternator is charging, yours is probably hot all of the time and the micro thinks the eng. is running.
At a guess alternator brush pack.

More likely a bad diode in alternator?

You make have a broken wire on your oil pressure circuit.
based on experience though, ive seen more alternators cause that than broken wires on OP circuit.
Do you have any scrap / extra reefers around? if you do try to re / re the alternator. P/N 30-00409-10. Be sure to disconnect battery before you start.

If it is a broken wire to the oil press. switch, the unit will start and then shut down on "ENG OIL". If it is a problem with the alt. it won't even crank.
