I'm working on a 20 door run of hussman glass door freezers that will not get cold enough. Suction line pressure seems high to me. I'm going to give u guys some stats and see in you can help.

Low side 25 (-10)
High side 280(115)
Temp in cooler 3.6
Suction line temp at txv bulb 6.6
Liquid line temp 106 in compressor room.
Compressor room temp. 100-106
This is a 404a system with a 7.6 Copeland compressor.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi, hwebb54. You are on the edge, but you should be able to improve things. Your superheat is too high @ 16.6 deg F or C. Set your superheat at 5 deg F. This will tend to increase your suction pressure, but overnight, you should see an improvement in temperatures. Also, make sure you only have a single defrost per day.

Thank you for the info. I'll get back to you with the results.
