Hi everyone, not sure if this is the correct section to ask this but hopefully someone will be able to help.
I'm looking at a refrigeration system at the moment which has a rerigeration capactiy of 250kW. It has an air cooled condenser with a condensing temp of 45deg c when external ambient temp is 30degc.
Im investigating the possible reduction in compressor power that could be achieved using a dual chiller (air and water cooled), if i could supply 99kW (40% of cooling capacity) of chilled water from an absorption chiller with flow and return temperatures of 6 & 12deg C and unknown condensing temp.
Does anyone know how this can be done or how the condensing temperature can be calculated at a chilled water temp of 6-12 flow and return.
Cheers
Mark
