the problem is ice on evaporator

now the caz is (1) sorthage of refregerant.

(2) system choking?

or any other reasion.

To short of defrost or not defrosting enough.
evap is close to entrance point with warm air going up and icing it

I should go for moisture around the coil which is below freezing temperature of water ,...just a wild guess..

no there is no any deforst system in the said ac.

What was the presuures? also Check up the evap. filter cleanliness and fan speed.

Problem is your description of problem. Not enough data.
Now after 3 post we found that is air conditioner in qustion here.:eek:
Describe your unit with model# and describe conditions around unit and its placemant.
Also:
Here is a list of the temps/pressures needed to troubleshoot a system:

Evap air/water in temp
Evap air/water out temp
Low side pressure or saturation temp
Suction line temp at evap outlet
Suction line temp at compressor inlet

Cond air/water in temp
Cond air/water out temp
High side pressure or saturation temp
Liquid line temp at receiver or condenser outlet
Liquid line temp at TXV inlet
The more information provided the more accurate the diagnosis.
