Air in the refrigerant circuit - please help

Refrigerant circuit has taken air because the evaporator it has holes. Result is the pressure in the depression to be off limits. What you propose to me making? Thanks

Recover the refrigerant using an inline drier filter. Replace evaporator

You could then blow off (into another large cylinder) about 10% of the gas, check it with a PT chart and if all good reuse the gas. Most of the non condensable gas will sit on the top.

i don't think there mutch left to recover. you can presurise the condensor or evaporator whit NGO, repair the leaks, triple vacuum and refill whit exact amound of refrig. a dirty job, but rewarding if it is nicely done.

If he is able to recover gas ! then this idea is best suited.

a smart technician is always able to do a recover. so many ways if you have gauges.
i did mi first whit an old compressor and torch, some 35years ago.

There are many ways of recovery!
only if gas is present!
If gas is leaking , inside gas will not be
contaminated.

Good chance if it's sucked in a gutful of air, the oil is going to have a stack of moisture in it. Make sure you treat it like a burnout and put a burnout dryer in and try and get rid of the acids and moisture once you have the evaporator sealed up.
