This unit has been insalled about a week and was running great, but got a call to go and check the unit this eve (outdoor model PUHZ RP10KVA) about the unit not cooling.
Turned the unit on and the fans run outside for about 2 secs then off and repeats this about 5 times.
The outdoor unit is flashing fault code 3 green and 4 red .
I took the 3 wires off compressor and checked windings, 2 are 1.0 ohms and the other is 0.9.
When power is turned on with these wires disconnected thetre is 23.4v between 2 phases DC and the same fault code appears with the wires disconnected.
I have checked compressor wires where they go onto board and all seems fine.
Has anyone had this problem ?

Chris

hi chris
i recently ran up a mitsi system and had a problem where the compressor was making a noise and failing to start
had error lights cant remember what these were now.
turned out to be a faulty power board.

Hi lee
The compressor on this unit was doing nothing at all, the fans were the only thing that would run.
only the red wire was live to comp the other 2 nothing.
Its the first time this has happend to me normally mitsi are very reliable.
