Hi,
I have a slit a/c unit. If the refrigerant is lost due to leakage, would the compressor work ? Shouldn't the compressor cut off switch turn it off when there is no refrigerant in the system ?

plenty of cheap chinese crap units dont have lp controls i have come accross airwell domestic splits that will cut out on thermal overload on compressor due to oil and refrigerant loss before they cut out on anything else quality hey!!!!!!!
