smeg SRA 2 ONE

Could anybody please help with a problem i have with a Smeg SRA 2 ONE the cabinet runs trouble free for several months then goes through a period of giving an audible alarm,all temps are correct at time of alarm and all components check out ok, any help will be gratefully received

does any part of the unit shut down will the alarm is sounding?

im not sure,i havnt witnessed the unit in alarm mode,i only know what the customer reports,when i have looked at the fridge i cant find any obvious fault,aparantly it has done this from new and the control unit has been changed by the original supplier,but the fault remains,it alarms very infrequently but always through the night,its driving my customer nuts.
