compressor motor heater

I have a copeland scroll compressor motor in a water chiller it is a 2 ton the direction said that I have to have power to the unit 8 hours before turning it on, the problem I have is it is three phase and I run it off of a rotory phase conveter That I would rather not run the phase conveter all night so I can work it the next morning is there any way to hook up a heater on the compressor that I can it on 110 circuit, Thanks

Yes it is! You need refrigeration engineer or refrigeration service technician or electrician to that for you!
Heater is already made for 110V 1 phase power supply. If it is not, than it could be purchased.

It is critical that the sump heater is on before operating the compressor. For the fact that the oil in compressor is well above the saturated discharge temperature to elliminate gas saturating into the oil, and problem of oil carry over out of compressor on start up. No oil no lubrication equals dead compressor.
I would respectfully suggest at least 24hours before starting compressor to ensure sump oil temperatures are high. Get a Refrig Technician to sort it out.

Get a separate strap on heater to run off your other power supply.
