Dear all this is my first thread & i need a help,
LG MPS SYSTEM (Multi Power System) is malti spilt system. im working in a project where there are 3 models of condensing unit
* 1st model (12.5 tone) out door unit have two discharge line & suction line, one of them connected to bdu ( distributor having thermostatic expansion valve) then to fcu. Other one capillary tube directly fitted in out door unit discharge line.
*2nd model, out door unit have two discharge line & suction line connected directly to the fcu & capilary tube directly fitted in out door unit discharge line.
*3rd model (smaller size) out door unit have two discharge line & suction line connected directly to the fcu & expansion valve located within fcu.
*note that this system have the capability of 50 meter run from out door to bdu & from bdu to fcu 15, in addition the other two models have 50 run max.
my doubt is if you locate the expansion valve within out door unit & you have such a long distance that’s mean the whole pipe run become part from the evaporator (pipes sweating) also that mean waste of energy.
the argument is that LG specialist telling their design is correct. Any comment?
