just changed a stat like for like on a two door fridge freezer only to find that the milk is now freezing in the fringe compartment on the lowest setting does anyone have any idea why

It doesn't cut out, improper placement of bulb, if it's a cap tube system place it near the cap tube area, away from the fan, the coil gets colder in theat area, if that doesn't do it, take it out, put it in the freezer and see at what temp there is no countinuity (sp), or if it ever opens, I have seen bad brand new T-Stats.

Its not cycle, is the stat the correct one.checked the cut out temp, is the bulb in the right location,checked the connection on the stat,use your emagination its easy.
