Gents,

Has anyone had any experience in the manufacture or installation of Turbocor chillers?

If so, I am wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what common failures that arise (components or alarms) as this would help to prepare for service work in this line of machinery.

Replies or PM's will be appreciated.

Many thanks, Bash.

We have had a few come up with soft starter faults( probably 4 or 5) and this requires replacing it. other little annoying problems are related to sensor faults.

If you have done a course on these it shouldnt be a problem as the manuals give very detailed fault finding of each componet with pics as well.

We have been installing these for the last 5 years now.

If you need any specific info let me know.

Thanks for your reply Intercas!
I have been on the Service courses at DTCI in Talahassee, so repairing these bad boys is not an issue.
We manufacture Turbocor chillers and we are massive in Europe but have only just started our service arm in the UK so I am just trying to do some research to see what I've got myself into as i am going to be carrying out the commissioning, warranty and technical support.
But it would be useful to bounce ideas off you guys should we need it, ta!
